About Me

I am a native of Dallas and have spent most of my life in the Dallas area. I graduated from Hillcrest High School. I then attended Southern Methodist University where I graduated magna cum laude in Biomedical Studies and received minors in Chemistry and Physical Science. During college, I tutored other students in pre-medical courses at the SMU Learning Enhancement Center.

Next, I went for medical school at U.T. Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where I conducted research in breast cancer. This research helped to define the make-up of this cancer. Also, I was chosen from a worldwide pool of applicants to study Neurology at the Green College of Medicine at Oxford in the U.K. At Oxford, I worked under the world's expert in rare neurologic conditions and was given the opportunity to present the topic of schizophrenia in front of the Oxford medical staff. I received my Medical Degree from U.T. Southwestern in 1998.

I stayed in Dallas for my residency in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas where I was awarded for outstanding diagnosis of Xrays. I graduated in June 2001.

My Practice

Our office opened in 2002. It is located on the northwest corner of Coit Rd. and 15th street in Plano. It is in the new medical building that is connected to the hospital by a pedestrian walkway over Coit Rd. My office is on the 4th floor in suite 435.

Your visit to the doctor

It is my hope that your visit will be enjoyable and informative. Here are some tips that I hope will enhance your visit:

• Medical History: On your first visit, make sure you have included as much detail as possible including medical conditions, surgeries, medications you are on, allergies, and medical problems in your family. Remember to include any vitamins or supplements that you take and any elective surgeries that you have had (face lifts, breast augmentation, etc.).

• Keep records: It is always helpful to keep a log for me. For example, a list of your blood pressures at home if you have hypertension or a list of your blood sugars for diabetes.

• Call: If you notice any unusual symptoms or just think you may be getting a cold, give me a call.

• Ask Questions: I encourage you to ask any questions you may have. It is sometimes helpful to compose a list of questions or concerns that need to be addressed.
